South Mountain Middle School Threat 'Not Credible,' Allentown Police Say

A threat made against a school in Allentown on Sunday, Sept. 25 was found to be not credible, authorities said.

The gun-related threat was directed at South Mountain Middle School for the Monday, Sept. 26 school day, Allentown police said.

An investigation revealed that the threat was unfounded, and as a result, police have implemented increased security measures at the school, they said.
